Issacharian Daughters #075 - Boutique Narelle - Position Vacancies
Dear Girls,
The next newsletter is attached as a pdf and the text follows this note. To see the images you’ll need to open the pdf id075-boutique-narelle-position-vacancies.pdf
Regards,
Genevieve
Introduction
My name is Hannah Burton. I am 13 years old. I live In White Bluff, TN (right outside of Nashville). I have four siblings: two sisters and two brothers! I greatly enjoy cooking and photography, and serving my family!
Regarding ID073 Testimony to a Changed Heart
Dear Genevieve,
The last two Issacharian Daughters were great! I liked the Testimony to a Changed Heart."
I remember how I argued with my father over earning a university degree.
I thought it was "sinful" and wanted my own way.
I thought I knew best, but the point is "honour thy father and thy mother."
It was very encouraging to read about Grace, and how the Lord is teaching her humility,
in delighting in being a keeper-at-home, and telling others that she is a homemaker.
It is so hard to confess and profess like Martin Luther wrote...
"If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God
except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking,
I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing him.
Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved, and to be steady on all the battlefield
besides is mere flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point." Weimar Ausgabe Briefwechsel 3, 81f.
I remember how terrified I was when my DANTES proctor asked me about my future plans after my university graduation.
I trembled visibly as I stumbled over the words, that I was going to help my father and husband in business.
May God give us all the courage to stand for Him as women of God.
Love,
Erin Elizabeth, USA

Dear Girls,
Boutique Narelle - Tribute to Mothers
Many thanks to Narelle Worboys for her work with Boutique Narelle. Narelle shares with us some exciting developments within her modesty ministry.
Boutique Narelle, an internet helpline and resource for modeling modesty (located at www.boutiquenarelle.blogspot.com), invites you to send in pictures of your mother or mentor who provides you with an attractive example of Godly femininity. Boutique Narelle will select from that collection to post on the website as a tribute to these Titus 2 women.
High resolution digital photos are preferred (reduced-size email versions don’t allow web visitors an enlargement option). If you are scanning an image, 200 dpi and 200% scaling should be fine. Send to BoutiqueNarelle@xtra.co.nz.
Boutique Narelle - Job Vacancies
Do you want to try out your creative abilities, get experience in the fashion/appearance industry, assist lassies like yourself in their dressing experience and work with others who love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ? We need your help to make Boutique Narelle happen. We’re not asking for experienced professionals. We need creative girls eager to learn, willing to follow directions and with a heart to please the Lord.
Miss Photographer
Narelle requires a photographer to record the illustrative portion of her articles. This will include live models and still photography of dressmaker mannequins. She wants someone who is passionate about photographing modesty and elegance in fashion. Creative instinct and an ability to work in with the director is a must. Digital camera and tripod can be provided. You must be able to work in Dannevirke, New Zealand, on the days agreed upon.
Miss Stage Technician
The above photographer will need an assistant who can set up and monitor backdrops, lighting and props. Some knowledge of photography and lighting would be helpful. An eye for detail and an ability to work in with the director is a must. You must be able to work in Dannevirke, New Zealand, on the days agreed upon.
Miss Graphic Designer
Boutique Narelle requires an artist to design a stylized label, logo and colour palette for Boutique Narelle. A portfolio of ideas can be provided. Photographic art is welcome.
Graphics idea
If you are creative in the art of parchment or pergamano, we may be interested in using your designs for graphics on the Boutique Narelle website. (See figures A, B and C or browse this website to view more lovely examples of parchment craft: http://www.pergamanoweb.nl/Pergamano/pergamano.html ) If you enjoy some other type of art which you feel may benefit our web graphics, we’d like to hear from you as well!
Miss Advertising
Boutique Narelle requires a designer to create a range of HTML banners and printable posters and pamphlets, all of which may then be downloaded from the website by interested parties. This role will be dependent upon Miss Graphic Designer completing her specified tasks first. It could be incorporated into her responsibilities or those of Miss Web Designer.
Miss Web Designer
The current blog site is limited in its capabilities, so Boutique Narelle requires a web designer to set up a website which will have:
* a simple, uncluttered style
* an easy-to-navigate format
* a site map
* a search feature
* a large number of quality photographs
* facility for technically-unskilled staff to upload updates and new material
* ability for a forum or blog open to public comment
* ability for an online store
* an auto-rotating Quote of the Day/Week feature.
Miss Encyclopedia of Web Links
Follow web links specific to BN-related topics such as modesty and sewing located by yourself or BN staff or recommended by website visitors. Create a reference resource of these links providing a brief review of pros/cons and significant content. Several girls could work as a team to cover this huge resource opportunity.
Miss Encyclopedia of Written Resources
Compile a reference resource of books and articles on BN-related topics. Write a brief review of pros/cons and significant content, and give details on where to access the material. This also is an opportunity for teamwork. Network with others who have personal libraries or access to loan libraries and you could quickly produce an exciting resource for visitors to Boutique Narelle.
Miss Network
Using a spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel, compile a fully referenced index of contacts/people involved in the Boutique Narelle project and keep it up-to-date. Create contact, info or thank-you/appreciation templates in Outlook Express or similar. Edit a regular prayer e-letter and distribute. You might become the point of first contact for people visiting the website and asking for information.
Misses Fashion Vista
Boutique Narelle requires multiple ladies with knowledge of current fashions who will enjoy browsing well-known clothing stores and writing up the availability and use of garments for modest ladies. There will be room for these individuals to negotiate with stores regarding photographic illustrations and advertising. When you send in your résumé, tell us which stores you plan to review.
Mrs Business Advisor
Boutique Narelle requires an older woman with business experience who can advise on personnel management, product development, financial hazards (this item particularly), and general administration.
If you are interested in any of these positions, send your résumé to BoutiqueNarelle@xtra.co.nz telling us what you have to offer and why you want to be involved. Please include a full length photograph of yourself the way you normally dress and at least two letters of character reference, one of which should be from someone who is not a relative. Make sure you pray about it first!
We are also keen to compile a list of girls with sewing or design skills (who would like to be a part of the NewCreations index of craftsmen) and appearance stylists (who would like to be a part of our Art of Appearance network for group tutoring/seminars and advice columns). Send your details to BoutiqueNarelle@xtra.co.nz and remember we are not necessarily looking for professionals! If you feel short on confidence or skill, try starting small with, for instance, sewing elastic-waisted skirts for girls or having a hair-play day with the girls in your church. Experience is all you need, and Boutique Narelle aims to provide the means for you to get that.
We believe a foundation of prayer will be advantageous as we embark on this innovative project. If you’re excited about the Boutique Narelle concept and want to see it succeed, why don’t you place it on your prayer list?
If you have any comments or suggestions, please do email us at BoutiqueNarelle@xtra.co.nz

Issacharian Daughter
Notes:
I have sent this email to girls who have embraced a vision of victorious daughterhood as well as those who may be thinking about doing so (and even to some girls who may just like some encouragement regarding different areas of home life). Some of the girls are in the USA, UK, Australia and other parts of the world. Most are in New Zealand. You are welcome to forward this email on to others so long as you do so in its entirety. If you do not want to receive these emails please just send a return email to me stating that fact. If you know of other girls who would be encouraged by receiving these emails, feel free to forward the email to them or send me their email address.
The name Issacharian in Issacharian Daughters derives from Issachar, the name of one of the twelve tribes of Israel. In the Old Testament the men of Issachar were commended for understanding the times. Because they understood the times, they knew what they should do. One of my aims with the Issacharian Daughters newsletter is to equip girls to understand the times we live in so that they will know what to do.
