Madeleine - aren't you guilty of a little porky there? Or is it just simple bad-mouthing?

Come on - you have charged rigging - lets see the evidence. And please front up with it at Open Parachute.

What "atheist" blogs are favoured? (What "atheist" NZ blogs are there? - I would be interested in a list). What mechanism is used to favour them? Why do the Christian blogs do so well? And why should I bother rigging things? Surely I am more interested (as we should all be)in the objective rating?

Oh - and please let me know of the blogs I am missing (although at almost 400 now I must find some way of limiting the numbers analysed).

By the way - have a look at the automatic blog ranking using public sitemeter stats (see A NZ blog ranking tool). It updates daily, presents the data as average visits/day (based on the previous 7 days) and provides an ideal way of keeping tabs of ones own performance with respect to other blogs. It currently has 55 blogs on the list. (It's quite exciting to watch how blogs move up and down the list).

If you are interested and have sitemeter or statcounter send me a link and I will include it.

The Open Parachute blog rankings are incomplete and omit to include many NZ blogs. Tumeke's and HalfDone's NZ blogosphere rankings are more comprehensive and arguably use a better formula (one that isn't rigged to favour athiest blogs). I suspect you'd find you'd do better on theirs.

If Tumeke and Halfdone do not already rank you pop over to their sites and ask them to, just leave a comment on any post - they are pretty good at adding new blogs - you can find links to both on MandM, just click on our NZ Christian Blog Rankings tag.
