From Stacey of Gisborne Home School Group
Good morning,
I am passing this around to all home educators and please feel free to continue to pass it around to those who maybe interested.
Below is a email from Dawn at http://www.shakespeare.org.nz/
informing us they now allow home educated students to participate in their festival. This is exciting news and wonderful that our children are being included and allowed the same opportunity as children in registered schools.
Hello Stacey
… I was about to contact the Home School Association.
At SGCNZ’s last Board Meeting, we decided we will now allow Home Schoolers to participate as long as:
a) The Home School Association joins SGCNZ joins as a Friend (as do schools) $125 per annum
b) That groups pay the joint SGCNZ Friends Fee of $65 to participate
c) That all the Criteria are adhered toIf you are interested in attending the National Festival in Wellington from 31 May – 3 June as Non-Performers this year, you can request a Non-Performer Pack.
Best wishes
Dawn.
Nga mihi nui,
Stacey
