Hi Barbara,

After teaching character qualities in an after school club for ten years, I decided to share my lesson plans with other homeschoolers and teachers.

I’ve put a website together with over a hundred lesson ideas for teaching children biblical character. It covers these core values: kindness, truthfulness, forgiveness, the power of words, making right choices, honesty, patience and thankfulness.

It includes a main lesson and these follow up lessons for each character quality: an activity, puppet play, clapping rhyme, folk tale, movie clip, quotes, a NZ history story, games, object lessons and a code of conduct. Here’s the link:
