We sent a message to Jenny Clark, PR person for the ERO, and to Rob Williamson, head of ERO’s home education unit, expressing relief at hearing that their colleagues in Christchurch have all been accounted for. Jenny sent this note in response.

Thank you very much indeed for your thoughtful message.  We were indeed very relieved to have all of our staff safely (and with very little injury) out of the PGG building in Christchurch.  We had some very anxious moments.  Others were not so fortunate an the tragedy continues for them.

It has been very comforting to have messages of good will from people.  We appreciate your prayers and thoughts, and I will pass this message to the Chief Review Officer.
