A BRIEF SUBMISSION
I wish to ask that this bill be fully rejected.
I believe it infringes on parental rights;
to choose what they want to have happen for their children as regards to their health and education.
I also believe it enforces the detachment of children from their parents at an age which can be detrimental for many.
I think the nature of this bill is against the free spirit of our country, and should be denied.
Because a parent is receiving a benefit from the government, does this mean they should be denied basic parental rights?
Does accepting a benefit then mean that you have signed your rights over as to what you would choose for your children?
Do the children belong to the state, or to the parent?
I think, to the parent..
