A message from the HSLDA on the Romeike case

A Message from the HSLDA:

Dear Members and Friends of Homeschooling,

When the United States Supreme Court issued today’s Order List, we were surprised to discover that they had taken no action on the Romeike case.

Every case announced this morning was denied review. We were very glad to not be on this list.

As we were preparing to send this email, the Court rescheduled Romeike for its review conference on Friday, February 28.

Germany’s persecution and unequal treatment of homeschooling families violates basic notions of fairness, human rights, and even treaties that it has signed. Perhaps Romeike v. Holder can help change this—not only for the Romeikes, but also for other families around the world.

Let’s keep praying.
