CONFERENCE VENUE: QUEEN ST GOSPEL CHAPEL, 541 QUEEN ST, LEVIN
Receive fresh vision, be encouraged in your efforts and meet or reconnect with other like-minded Bible-based Christian folk.
This year’s conference has been extended by an extra day so you have more time to fellowship.
The conference is being organised by local Bible-based Christian homeschool parents and is supported by the organisations and businesses set out below.
It will begin at 9am, Friday 24 July and finish with a bring-and-share meal on Saturday 25 July evening.
Please pass this notice on to any other Christian families or homeschool families who you think might like to come.
All sessions will be taught from a Biblical worldview and will include topics such as:
- Homeschooling – learn about or refresh your vision of why we do what we do, raising children who will love Christ above all
- Family discipleship- what is it? Equipping mums and dads with Bible principles for passing on the baton of faith to our children
- Family integrated church – why the church and the family need each other
- Best kept secret – family worship – why do it? & How? Practical tips for newbies and the old-hands
- Creation science – exploring topics relevant to the whole family
- Family business and entrepreneurship – how working together with your children can strengthen the ties that bind and provide unique discipleship opportunities
- Rural living – hear how God has inspired other Christian homeschool families in this area
Speakers will include video and/or live presentations from:
- Local kiwi Dads and families sharing their experiences and insights
- Kris Baines and Jason Winslade, Redemption Church, Christchurch
- Robert Hunt, Creation Ministries International
Plus sessions featuring recorded insights from family-integrated church
pastors and homeschool advocates:
- Kevin Swanson, Generations with Vision
- Scott Brown, National Centre for Family Integrated Churches

FAMILY CONCERT: Friday Night Family Concert – featuring beautiful old
Gospel songs and many favourite hymns.
BOOK SALES: Will be available on the topics addressed at the conference.
ACCOMMODATION: If you are able to _offer_ accommodation to an attending family, or if you _need_ accommodation, please contact us. There are also several holiday parks in the Horowhenua area
.
CHILDREN: For most sessions, children are encouraged to stay in the main auditorium and learn alongside their parents.
The speakers are experienced in catering to all-age audiences.
For some sessions, a children’s programme (ages 5-10 yrs old) will be available. Children must be registered by 14 July to participate in this.
INFANTS & TODDLERS: Rooms for restless younger children and sleeping
babies will be available. There will be audio-visual feed from the main auditorium.
COST:
Early-bird price (extended till 14 July) $35/one adult $55/family
From 15 July $40/one adult $65/family
Day visitor (Fri only or Sat only): $30/one adult $40/family (no early-bird price available)
Children’s programme (5-10 yrs old): $5/child maximum of $20/family
(only children registered by 14 July may attend the children’s programme).
