Pro-Life Training/Street Outreach Conference

Tuesday 26 June, 6pm-9pm: Pro-Life Training | St Gregory’s Church – 30 Cotswold Ave, Bishopdale
Wednesday 27 June, 9am-6pm: Pro-Life Street Outreach | 3 – 4 locations throughout the city

Over two days, build your knowledge of what it means to be pro-life, and how to share this with others.

On the first day we will meet for 3 hours and cover:

  1. why are we pro-life? the facts and science.
  2. the cruciality of engaging with our culture on the injustice of abortion.
  3. engaging with our culture to change hearts and end abortion.

On the second day we will hit the streets with placards depicting preborn children at varying stages of development.

By presenting our culture with the humanity of the preborn child we will get them thinking, stimulate debate, and actively undermine the misinformation spread by advocates of abortion.

Another Conference… Really?

Like you, the Pro-Life Action team is actually fairly sick of conferences. All too often, conferences are where old people get together, pat each other on the back and talk about how awesome they are. Not this conference! This conference will be more like a war council. On the first day we will gather to discuss our strategy. And then on the second day we will get up off our chairs, head out into the city, and begin to put that strategy into action.

Click here to download a flyer you can print out and pass around.

Enough talk! We know abortion is wrong and we can talk about it until the cows come home. But what are we doing to stop it?

We will not rest until we have effected the abolition of abortion.

Christian Homeschoolers Family Summer Getaway

15 – 17 FEB 2013
Taupo
A like-minded …. family-centred ….
budget-conscious …. fun-filled….
weekend getaway!
Welcome to the first Christian Homeschoolers Family Summer Getaway. The aim of this getaway is for Christian homeschooling families to connect with other families for mutual encouragement and friendship. It aims to be …

like-minded

There’s nothing more encouraging than knowing we are not alone in this awesome task of discipling our children at home. Meeting with others who are going through the same triumphs and struggles can lift a tired soul! And how important it is, for our children to have like-minded friends.

family-centred

This is a getaway for the whole family. Enjoy a weekend away or extend your time at the campsite and have a family holiday as well. This is not a camp in the traditional sense, it is families relaxing together.

budget-conscious

Raising a family on a single income is no easy task but God is faithful. So being mindful of this, we have chosen to go to a conventional campsite. Tenting is cheap, though there are limited cabins available. We will let you organise your own family’s food which is much cheaper than paying someone else to cook it and you can meet your own budget requirements.

fun-filled

We have a programme of fun games and activities for the young and not so young, and of course, we are camped right on the shores of beautiful Lake Taupo for swimming, boating, etc! We have a hall on site for fellowship, Sunday morning devotional, or in case it rains.
