Inspire Weekend Camp for Girls 12+

Inspire Weekend Camp for Girls 12+

Inspiring young women to live WHOLE heartedly for Jesus Christ

26-28 FEBRUARY 2010 – NGARUAWAHIA, WAIKATO

2 TIMOTHY 2:22 (ESV) So flee youthful passions and
pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with
those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.

So if you’re a young woman over the age of 12 come for a weekend of inspiration…..

Our vision is to ignite a passion in young women to:

  • love the Lord with all their hearts
  • stay on the straight and narrow
  • be bold witnesses for Jesus Christ
  • go against the cultural norm by living a Christ-infused life

“Do not pray for easy lives, pray to be stronger men. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks. Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but you shall be a miracle”

You are invited to our weekend camp, Inspire.

This is a conference for girls 12 and older.   It will be a weekend for you to be encouraged and fellowship with other like-minded young women

We look forward to seeing you!
With love from
The Inspire Team

Who we are:

As far as “The Inspire Team” goes, it consists of Sue Abernethy, her daughters Nicky and Kelly and then myself (Felicity Farnworth) helping out a bit on the side 😀

As for speakers – there’s Sue Abernethy, Nicky Abernethy, Rosie Boom and Katie Boom lined up – along with a few others.

Sue Abernethy is the lady who put this camp together -she has this amazing personality and a heart to inspire girls to live totally and completely sold out for Jesus! In Mrs Abernethy’s words: “Sue Abernethy is your regular run-of-the-mill Mum of 8 (ok, I admit that’s not really regular!!!) who wants to be willing and obedient (like Isaiah1:19 says) to the call of God on her life, to be a Godly wife, to raise children who love the Lord Jesus Christ because of how she loves Him, and wants to reach her hand out to the next generation and inspire them to live wholeheartedly for Jesus Christ.” Her daughters Nicky and Kelly have also helped organise the camp. You can contact both Mrs Abernethy and her girls at absclan@slingshot.co.nz or 07 886 0402

Rosie Boom, from all accounts is pretty amazing and has an passion for Jesus which reaches out to others. Rosie also speaks at HEART, as is a homeschooling mum of 6.  Her website is www.rosieboom.com Katie Boom is Rosie’s daughter who dedicated a year of her life between secondary and tertiary education to serving her family. She’s currently studying in Hamilton.
