Earlier this month, a new court ruling categorizing homeschooling as “child welfare endangerment” was pronounced in the Federal High Court in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Parents in Sweden who want to homeschool their children are invariably harassed by the authorities. At the same time we have children committing suicide because they are being bullied at school. One headmaster said: We can’t wrap children in cotton-wool to protect them.

In September this year, homeschooling “Hemundervisning” was decided as punishment for three youngsters who were involved in a school brawl in Svalöv, the Municipality that confiscated my client’s seven children.
